Well, it’s the first actual cold day here in New York. And my body doesn’t like it so much, I got all sniffly, achy, and a bit feverish. Feels appropriate though, it’s really the first fall I’ve experienced in quite a few years, as San Francisco doesn’t have seasons.
The cold weather and a light illness have brought on a feeling for new austerity; all day I’ve been canceling subscriptions, budgeting, trying to remove myself from any pretensions of some sort of cushy existence (which is an easy trap to fall into in New York or anywhere else).
Cold weather, austerity, I’m ready for it! And in that spirit, I’m canceling my (pricey) domain name and moving everything over to my *new* online home: http://klaang.wordpress.com. Subscriptions should be automatically updated, or if you’d like to subscribe anew, the links are to the right.
