I made the switch. After years of using Movable Type, I’m now a WordPress believer. So far it’s been great! Right now I’m writing this from a nice iPhone interface. Self-publishing has become so sophisticated.
So there are a lot of other changes around here too, from the new design to the layout of the site as a whole. I’m using the wonderful indexexhibit to manage my portfolio.
I’m also reworking the kind of content I have in my blog. This main box here will contain entries about my life (reflections, stuff my friends care about) or essays (reviews, opinion). I’ve dedicated the bottom left box to my fiction (currently hidden), primarily Mitchiko’s Life, which I hope to update much more.
With a little luck, I’ll be able to convert my old blog database soon and have the archives moved over here as well.
And my big goal: summer 08, less talk, more act!
